Sharanabasaveshwar College of Arts was started under the patronage and blessings
of Lingaikya Poojya Doddappa Appa, the 7th Peethadhipati and founder President of
Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha, Kalaburgi, in 1956. The college is
permanently affiliated to Gulbarga University, Kalaburgi, and recognized under
sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the 1956 UGC Act.
As one of the earliest Arts colleges in this region, it has grown into a
prestigious institution with world-class infrastructure and a commitment to
quality education. The college strives to promote positive thinking, dasoha
