Sharanabasaveshwara Vidya Vardhak Sangha was started long ago in the year 1951-52 having prime objective to provide value based education in this region. Now our Sangha has as many as 85 educational institutions including Sharnbasva University and Sharanabasaveshwar College of Arts is providing the quality education with human values like selfless service ‘each one teach one’ helping the needy people and promoting moral education and ethical values among the students.

I feel proud to say that Sharanabasaveshwar College of Arts has created a number of Scholars, writers Musicians and creative thinkers, it is to be noted that the students who has studied in this college has served as a vice chancellor of many universities. The library of the college is worthy to be mention here for its beauty and a plenty of old and new books. ”

In fact this college has number of department like Kannada English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Economics, Music and Fine art and so on. The educational needs of the students are being met by providing IAS, KAS and other competitive exams coaching. I strongly believe that this college plays an important role in providing value based updated education to the students, so that they will be prepared to competate for the Viksit Bharat.
